HOTEL HIGHLIGHT: LE JARDIN DES DOUARS

We stayed at Jardin des Douars in Essaouira, and it was absolutely incredible – will definitely go back!

The rooms are beautifully designed, blending comfort with Moroccan charm. The hotel is surrounded by stunning nature and offers two lovely swimming pools, perfect for relaxing under the sun. They even have a padel court on-site, which was so much fun!

The food is amazing – every meal was a treat, full of fresh, flavorful ingredients.

Don’t miss out on the spa and traditional hammam – it’s the perfect way to unwind and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of this magical place.

    This is a MUST! A bit outside the city centre but so worth it if you love good food.

  • BBQ @ Jardin des Douars

    The BBQ at Jardin des Douars is a laid-back, scenic dining experience set in the lush gardens of this boutique hotel. Held on select days, it features grilled meats, fresh salads, and Moroccan sides. It’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon under the sun with great food and views.

  • Visit the Souks

    Stroll around in the vibrant Medina, where every corner bursts with color, scent, and life. Get lost in the maze of narrow alleys and discover beautiful handcrafted treasures—textiles, ceramics, spices, and more

  • Design your own beautiful leather bag

    Unfortunately, I forgot the name, but somewhere hidden in the Medina, there's a small shop where you can design your own leather bag. I absolutely loved the experience—personal and creative. I've been using the bag so often, and the quality is still amazing!

  • Go surfing

    Surfing in Essaouira is great—steady winds, rolling waves, and a laid-back vibe make it perfect for both beginners and more experienced surfers. The beach is wide and relaxed, with surf schools ready to help you catch your first wave or improve your skills.

  • Quad tour in the desert

    A quad tour in the desert at sunrise is a fun and exciting way to start the day. You ride through the sand dunes and along the beach, enjoying the fresh morning air and beautiful views as the sun comes up. It’s a great mix of adventure and nature.
