Seoul

Seoul had been on our list for years, so when it was time to plan our next long-distance bestie trip,
we decided to take it to the next level. After already visiting Vietnam earlier in 2025, we met somewhere completely new for both of us: Seoul, in October.

And wow — this city absolutely delivered. Seoul instantly earned a spot in our top 3 favorite cities in the world. We kept saying the same thing over and over again: we could actually live here.

The city is massive yet incredibly livable, with so many distinct neighborhoods, each with its own vibe. From endless shopping streets to calm, aesthetic corners, there’s always something to discover. We loved the shopping (with Olive Young becoming a daily stop for Korean skincare), and the food… truly next level. Every meal felt exciting, comforting, and memorable.

Below are our Seoul recommendations, the places we loved most, ate & shopped at, and would 100% return to.

And guess what? Even more food reccomendations

Beyond the cafés, breakfast spots, and restaurants, Seoul is full of delicious food waiting to be discovered.

A great tip is to follow the locals — wherever you see crowds, it’s usually a good sign.

Be adventurous and try dishes like Korean BBQ, cold noodles (naengmyeon), and street snacks like salt bread and rice cakes.

Even convenience stores like 7-Eleven are worth a stop for ramen, onigiri, coffees, and other drinks you see trending online. There’s truly something tasty around every corner!
